Vocabulary
magnitude - the amount or quantity. Pythagorean Theorem - a theorem that states that the square of the length of the hypotenuse of a right triangle equals the sum of the squares of the lengths of the other two sides. scalars - quantities that are described by magnitude alone (e.g. time, speed, mass, distance). vectors - quantities that express magnitude and direction. |
